Since 900 AD, the energetic centres of the body known as the Chakras have been interwoven with the practice of yoga to facilitate meditation and enlightenment. Today the concepts of the Chakras can help us to reduce mental tension, understand how thoughts and emotions relate to physical tension, and experience our yoga off the mat. During this workshop, you will use asana, meditation, and pranayama to recognize the link between emotion and physical tension and rebalance the body and mind.
