Guest Experience Team Members

YYoga is a network of yoga studio and lifestyle centres committed to creating happier, healthier people connected to themselves and others. We are the largest corporately owned yoga company in Canada and currently operate ten centres with over 900 classes a week. We are currently looking for individuals who are passionate about customer service, yoga, and building community to join our Guest Experience Team.

Position Summary

The Guest Experience Team Member is responsible for delivering the YYoga guest service philosophy of Invite, Engage, Expand to all YYoga guests both in center and over the telephone, during their scheduled shifts. They will provide a consistently high level of customer service by focusing on each guest’s individual needs, proactively anticipating areas of concern and facilitating the smooth coordination of daily operations. In this way, they will ensure that their YYoga Center exceeds our guest’s expectations and delivers an amazing experience every time.


  • Experience practicing yoga
  • Previous experience in a hospitality related position preferred
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, ability to get along and communicate with diverse personalities, tactful & mature
  • Team player that is results oriented with the ability to balance all business considerations.
  • Pays attention to details
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with challenging situations, while maintaining excellent guest relations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage their time and responsibilities while offering excellent guest service
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage several guests at once without compromising service or professionalism
  • Ability to quickly and accurately handle and balance cash, credit and debit card sales
  • Computer proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing applications. Ability to quickly learn new computer applications.
  • Comfortable with completing a variety of housekeeping and cleaning tasks to maintain the high standard of cleanliness expected at all our locations
  • Ability to meet the specific and ongoing needs of the centre(s) operating schedules
  • First aid and/or CPR certificate an asset
  • Fluency in a 2nd language an asset
