What can students expect out of your class? Self-awareness with lightheartedness. Yoga should be fun and enjoyable, yet challenging and mindful. I will offer many variations on poses and sequences to accommodate different levels and body-types. I encourage all practitioners to take the practice to serve the body, and not push the body to serve the practice. Yoga should be therapeutic, not competitive.
Why yoga? Yoga has brought a great sense of calm and self-awareness to my life. May it be from another teacher, or a self-practice, I learn a little bit more each time I am on the mat.
What inspires you? I am inspired by the moment. The constant "NOW" that we come into from this yoga/meditation practice. I am inspired by the people that are in their moment; when they are just sitting still with their eyes closed or gaze soft and completely emerged into the bliss. It reminds me what this practice brings into our lives.
