What can students expect from your class? Classes are challenging centered around a peak pose, theme and most importantly the breath.  I use these three elements to help the student draw inward, come out of complacency and be empowered to dance on their edge.  By finding our edge, we become the agents of change in our own lives, and by facilitating our own growth in this way, we are able to rediscover our true selves and live more authentically.

Why Yoga? Yoga brings me peace.  I arrive at the mat everyday even if only for a few moments to rediscover myself.  When I get lost in the workings of my daily life, yoga provides me with this opportunity to reconnect to something greater, to minister to my soul in a language it knows well.  Often I wonder why I chose yoga and then I remember that Yoga chose me.

Inspirations: I want to get the most out of life in an incredibly vital and vibrant way. I am inspired by all studentship, the deep desire to learn, question and discover be it on or off the mat.  I am also each day incredibly inspired by spirit: my daughter, my dog, the forest, mountains and the rivers; and ultimately the quest to understand more fully the truth and connection in all things.
