Curriculum Overview

Developed by E-RYT Trainers Alex Atherton and Kristin Campbell, YHot is a hot yoga system that draws inspiration and intelligence from both traditional hot and hatha yoga styles. While the intensity and challenges of traditional hot methods are maintained, YHot incorporates sophisticated alignment principles and a light hearted approach.

The result is a style that safely maintains the intensity and restorative effects of hot yoga while allowing for creative expression and self-celebration.

The YHot system encompasses set sequences of postures and variations with specific alignments and timings to optimize the benefits of practicing in a hot studio. This tapestry of sequences is infused with tantric philosophy and framed by a deep respect for the 8-fold path of yoga.

This unique framework creates an approach that is fun and expressive, while offering the amazing physiological benefits of stretching, strengthening and detoxifying the body. A powerful moving meditation, YHot encourages a deep connection to the self while calming the mind.
