I teach Hatha, Yin/Restorative, Power Vinyasa and Pilates. In my Hatha classes I incorporate balanced sequences of Yin and Yang elements in order for you to really integrate the simple nuances of each posture within your body. In my Yin and Restorative classes, I take the idea of awareness and acceptance of our bodies into focus with long held stretches and mindful relaxation techniques. My Power classes build on Hatha ideas, but focus more on increasing circulation and heat. I work to create sequences that will engage your mind as well as your body and spirit. Keeping the ego at the door, your personal challenge is the essence of these classes and I offer variations and modifications for you throughout. My Pilates classes are based out of The Method style, focusing on preventative and rehabilitative strengthening of the stabilizer muscles. Expect to engage your brain! I enjoy teaching from my personal experience in order to serve you authentically. I look forward to laughing, practicing, and experiencing with you, all that the mat has to offer!
