Michele Labelle
My commitment is to teach and empower people to be the best they can be; mentally, physically and spiritually. Prior to teaching yoga, I worked at the BC Children’s' Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist for 16 years. This experience gave me a unique view of the breath I have been involved in Meditation and Energy work since 1996. I have traveled to India on numerous occasions, and in 2008, as a co-leader of the "The Spirit of India Tour". I have three yoga teacher training’s with over 1,000 hours of accumulated study. My work centers on Hatha Yoga, a classical form of yoga that includes a series of postures and breathing techniques. The primary focus is on breath, building strength, flexibility, and safety as well as promoting a sense of well being.
