I've been practicing yoga for almost ten years, ever since Neoalpine opened and hooked me in with Bikram. Then I met Paul Dallaghan in Thailand, who inspired me to dig even deeper. My background includes varying methods of Hatha Yoga. I'm mostly influenced by my studies in Ashtanga and Ana Forrest Yoga, and my experience in Hong Kong, where I taught, met many amazing teachers and studied Anusara Yoga with Pat Creelman. I strive to tap into the energy of a class and read the students to provide what they are truly asking for. I hope for my students to experience a sense of freedom in my class that they may otherwise feel inhibited to express. The world is a tough enough place. Yoga should never become another chore to get over with or be taken too seriously. Practicing with sincerity and humor is a motto I've always supported.
