It's back: 30 Day Challenge this March 1-30
Challenge yourself to 30 consecutive days of yoga, pilates or core and discover what a consistent practice can offer you. Proven benefits of a consistent practice include: increased strength, improved flexibility, better sleep, stress reduction, possible weight loss, improved focus, increased energy and immune system.
Purchase a 30 Day Challenge membership for $125 before March 1st, 2012 and receive unlimited yoga, core, pilates or YRide classes. Space is limited, we have sold out of the Challenge at all centers with the exception of Richmond and Highgate.

Here are some tips on our to make your challenge successful:
- Plan your yoga schedule a day (or week) ahead of time and reserve your spot in class online. That means even when the center is busy with other Challengers, you have a reserved spot (providing you show up at least 10 minutes before class).
- Try classes at different times of the day – you might find that you love a morning practice when the center is quiet and peaceful. You may find that you love a lunch class because of the boost of energy. Either way, you'll develop an adaptability that will help you fit yoga into your schedule more often moving forward.
- Try a variety of class types and teachers – including different centers!
- Listen to your body to avoid chance of injury. Some days all your body wants is a gentle hatha or meditation class.
- Set goals and intentions for your challenge and track your progress.
- Plan yoga dates with friends or family.
- Take advantage of the infrared sauna if there's one at the center you're practicing at. Enjoy the detoxifying effects.
- Don't get discouraged if you miss a few classes. Try to make them up by doubling up (Flow then Yin?) or just go as often as you can.
- Make note of the changes that you experience in your body and mind. Where is there resistance and where is there acceptance and encouragement?
- Reward yourself for accomplishments – a new yoga outfit perhaps from our Yboutique?

Just because you're already a member doesn't mean you can't challenge yourself to 30 days of yoga. Download, print, and keep this somewhere you'll see it on a daily basis as a constant reminder of your intentions and accomplishments.
